They need to work practically as shoot locations, be inspiring, flexible and create the right environment to bring the clients project to life. The key elements that we are looking for –

    LOCATION

    Property needs to be based in the North of England. It helps if you have a gorgeous garden, greenhouse and/or outbuildings.

    LIGHT

    Good natural light is really important through the property enabling the shoot team to work with natural daylight.

    WALLS

    It’s key that the property should be flexible with neutral paint colours on the majority of the walls. Multiple background options  with both neutral and feature walls are helpful.

    SPACE

    There should be enough space for the photographer to pull back and for the shoot team to work comfortably, so the bigger the room the better! The location should have at least 3 good rooms for shooting, ideally  a kitchen, dining space and a living space. Main bedrooms, bathrooms, hall ways and children’s rooms are great additions too.

    DECOR

    The interior design of the house must have an inspirational feel. The more neutral the paint colours on the wall, the more versatile the house will be, allowing people to stamp their mark on it.     FEATURES

    Features should feel inspirational. We are looking for good windows; wooden or critical, good flooring in light colours: parquet, concrete, brick or floor boards, fireplaces: period or modern, high ceilings, textures on walls: panelling, plaster, raw brick, stone, or tongue and groove.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR LOCATION

We’d love to see some photos if you have a property you’re considering registering as a location.

To begin the process, we’ll need images of all suitable rooms: living room, kitchen, dining room, hallway, main bedroom, main bathroom and an exterior shot of the house. They don’t need to be professional photos, but they do need to give us a good idea of the space and style of each room.

OUR SERVICE

Once you’ve registered your location with us, you’ll enjoy a very personal service from our team, who will organise, take, and style pictures of your property for the LEHAN PRODUCTIONS website. Market and represent your property on the website. Negotiate all location hire fees and details for the shoot. Deal with all pre-shoot admin and paperwork involved with the shoots. Deal with all post-shoot admin including invoicing.
